What is a FOR REQUEST Order?

FOR REQUEST is a special order system for titles that are currently not in stock and do not have a scheduled restock date. These include rare, out-of-print, or hard-to-source volumes. Or your favorite bookstore doesn’t have them. If there’s a book or series you’re searching for that isn’t listed in our shop, you can inquire about it directly.

Prices for FOR REQUEST titles are generally higher due to the added effort required to acquire them, import conditions, and sourcing limitations. Availability and cost will be discussed directly via email before anything is finalized.

How to Send a FOR REQUEST

There is no form for FOR REQUEST orders. Instead, you may send your inquiry directly via email ([email protected]) with the subject line:

FOR REQUEST – [Your Name]

Once we review your email, we will confirm availability, estimated price, and expected sourcing timeline. Please allow 1–3 working days or earlier for a response.

Payment Options & Fees

Once your request is confirmed and accepted, we will send a price quote and breakdown. You may choose to pay:

– A 50% deposit to secure the order, or – The full amount upfront, if preferred.

Accepted payment methods include GCash, Maya, and bank transfers (e.g., BPI, BDO, UnionBank). All shipping and transfer fees are shouldered by the customer. A final invoice with the total due will be emailed before shipping.

Note: Cash-on-Delivery is not currently available for FOR REQUEST orders. We will announce once we can accept the COD payment option.

Shipping & Delivery via J&T

Shipping is handled by J&T Express. Once your book has arrived and is ready for dispatch, we will email you a tracking number, a photo of the courier receipt, and an estimated delivery window.

If you have a pending preorder or other order with us, we may combine shipments where possible. Please mention any pending orders when replying.

Delivery estimates may vary depending on your location. You may check J&T’s shipping guidelines for more accurate delivery timelines.

All fees (shipping, transfer, and courier) are to be covered by the customer.

Refund Policy & Responsibility

Once a FOR REQUEST title has been ordered from our supplier, it can no longer be canceled or refunded. We encourage you to only proceed if you are certain about the purchase.

This policy helps protect both your time and ours, as well as the operational stability of our small business. Sourcing these books takes effort, coordination, and upfront costs. We appreciate your understanding and responsibility as a buyer.
